The All Progressives Congress (APC) has slated Tuesday, March 24, for the screening of aspirants vying for national offices, as part of preparations for its forthcoming National Convention scheduled for March 27.
In a notice issued on Sunday in Abuja, Secretary of the party’s Aspirants’ Screening Committee, Isa Yuguda, disclosed that the exercise will take place at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel.
Yuguda stated that all aspirants who have purchased and submitted their Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms are required to appear in person for the screening.
He further urged candidates to arrive early at the venue with all relevant supporting documents to ensure a smooth and timely verification process.
The screening exercise is a critical step in the party’s build-up to its National Convention, where new national officers are expected to emerge.
