The Chairman of Andoni Local Government Area, Hon. Lucky Promise-Otuo has sworn in Mr. Festus Tonoejit-Isaiah as the Council’s Secretary and Mr. Paul Ayagwung as Chief of Staff.
At the swearing-in ceremony held at the council’s headquarters in Ngo town, Hon.Otuo charged the newly sworn-in officials to see their appointment as a call to serve the people of Andoni and work assiduously for the growth and development of the area.
“Today you have been sworn in, do everything humanly possible to make us achieve our aim. Don’t discriminate anybody in Andoni, abide by the rules and regulations guiding your office,” Hon. Promise-Otuo said.
The Andoni Local Government Chairman also enjoined the newly sworn-in Council’s executives to focus on their core responsibilities and avoid sentiments or interference on matters that would not bring development to Andoni and ensure that the people of Andoni feel the impact of good governance.
Hon. Lucky Promise- Otuo, while congratulating them, assured of the Council’s support in providing the enabling environment and resources to carry out their duties effectively.
The Andoni Local Government Council boss further reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to implementing people-oriented projects aimed at improving the living standards of residents across the local government area.
Hon. Lucky Promise- Otuo further expressed optimism that with the new council’s management team on board, the local government would achieve great heights under his leadership. ”Andoni will shine again. You are part of the team to make Andoni great and drive meaningful progress in our development agenda,” he stated.
The Andoni Council boss also urged Festus Tonoejit-Isaiah, the Council’s Secretary, and Paul Ayagwung, the Chief of Staff, to work together in supporting the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and emphasized the need for continuity in leadership to drive national development and progress.
He used the occasion to appeal to indigenes and residents of Andoni to participate actively in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration exercise to strengthen democratic governance.
The swearing -in ceremony, which was well attended by the Council’s Vice- Chairman,Hon. Rachael Ezekiel-Abigani,the leader of the Andoni Legislative Assembly, Hon Atunu Boma- Douglas, Councillors, Party leaders, and other dignitaries, marks a new chapter in the Hon. Lucky Promise Otuo led the administration’s efforts to strengthen the local government and improve the lives of the people of Andoni.
