Speaking at the event, APC G3 National Coordinator, Amechi Chuks Oyema, described General Musa as a “round peg in a round hole,” noting that his performance has justified the confidence reposed in him by President Tinubu.
According to Oyema, the Defence Minister has brought discipline, purpose and direction to the nation’s security sector at a time when Nigerians desire peace, stability and national cohesion.
He stated that General Musa’s leadership style reflects the qualities of a seasoned professional who understands both the operational and policy dimensions of modern security management.
APC G3 noted that General Musa’s success as Minister of Defence did not happen by chance. Rather, it is a continuation of the excellence he demonstrated throughout his distinguished military career.
The group recalled that during his tenure as Chief of Defence Staff, General Musa displayed exceptional leadership capacity and strategic foresight in coordinating military operations across the country.
According to APC G3, he strengthened cooperation among the Armed Forces, promoted intelligence-driven operations and encouraged greater synergy among security agencies in confronting terrorism, banditry, kidnapping and other security threats.
The group observed that many of the structures and operational frameworks introduced during his time as Chief of Defence Staff have continued to yield positive results in the ongoing fight against criminal elements.
