The management of Enyimba has extended their good wish to Abia Warriors as they embark on their maiden continental adventure on Sunday.
Abia Warriors will on Sunday, take on Djoliba FC of Mali in the first round of the CAF confederation cup qualifying round at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, Akwa Ibom.
Samson David, Media Direcor stated this in a statement signed by the club management in Umuahia, Abia on Saturday.
“As a pride of Abia and symbol of our state’s footballing excellent, we are thrilled to see Abia Warriors step onto the continental stage.
“Their dedication, resilience and tireless preparations have set the tone for what promises to be a remarkable campaign.
“At Enyimba, we understand the weight and joy that comes with representing Nigeria on the African stage.
“That is why, we are confident that, Abia warriors will not only make Abia proud but also fly the Green and White flag of Nigeria high across the continent.
“The club pray for the Abia Warriors success in the qualifying round and look forward to seeing them advance into the group stage and beyond.
